How to take a screenshot — Samsung Galaxy

  1. Check for a software update

    Go to Settings, then Software update, then Download and install. If one is available, install it first.

  2. Press the Side button (power) and the Volume Down button at the same time, then let go quickly

    A toolbar appears at the bottom.

  3. Use the toolbar

    To edit, share, or take a scrolling screenshot by tapping the down-arrow button to capture more of a long page.

  4. Another way, no buttons

    Turn on palm swipe. Go to Settings, then Advanced features, then Motions and gestures, then Palm swipe to capture, and turn it on. Then swipe the side of your hand across the screen.

  5. To find it later

    Open Gallery, tap Albums, then Screenshots.
