How to connect Bluetooth — Samsung Galaxy
Check for a software update
Go to Settings, then Software update, then Download and install. If one is available, install it first.
Turn on Bluetooth:
Go to Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth, and turn it on. Or swipe down twice and tap the Bluetooth tile.
Put your accessory in pairing mode:
Usually hold the power or pairing button until a light blinks, or use the car's Bluetooth menu to Pair.
Tap the accessory name under Available devices
If a pairing code shows, check that it matches, then tap OK or Pair.
Confirm it's connected:
The accessory moves to Paired devices and says Connected. Test it.
If it doesn't appear:
Move closer, check it isn't connected to another phone, restart pairing mode on the accessory, and turn Samsung Bluetooth off and on again. If it still won't connect, use the "Bluetooth will not connect" guide.
