My phone isn't ringing — Google Pixel
Check for a software update
Go to Settings, then System, then Software update. If one is available, install it first, then test a call.
Turn up the ring volume
Press the volume up button on the side. Tap the three dots under the volume bar. Make sure the Ring slider is turned up and the bell icon is not crossed out. A crossed out bell means the ringer is muted.
Check Do Not Disturb
Swipe down from the top twice to see all the quick tiles. If the Do Not Disturb tile is lit up, tap it to turn it off. You can also go to Settings, then Sound and vibration, then Do Not Disturb, and check if a schedule is turning it on automatically.
Check your ringtone
Go to Settings, then Sound and vibration, then Phone ringtone. If it's set to None or Silent, tap it and pick a tone.
Check Bedtime mode
Go to Settings, then Digital Wellbeing, then Bedtime mode. If it's on, it can silence calls at night. Turn it off or adjust its schedule.
Check blocked numbers
Open the Phone app, tap the three dots at the top right, then Settings, then Blocked numbers. If the caller is listed, unblock them.
Check Bluetooth
If your phone is connected to headphones or a car, the ring may play there. Go to Settings, then Connected devices, and disconnect, or turn Bluetooth off for a test call.
Check call forwarding
Open the Phone app, tap the three dots, then Settings, then Calling accounts, then your SIM, then Call forwarding. If forwarding is on, your calls go to another number. Turn it off.
Restart the phone
Hold the power button, tap Restart.
If nothing worked, reset your network and app settings
Go to Settings, then System, then Reset options, then Reset Wi-Fi, mobile and Bluetooth. This does not delete your data, it just clears connection settings that can interfere with calls.
